Acadia National Park
Squeezing in 2 or 3 days trips into our hectic schedules this summer has kind of turned into me and Dave’s new special skill. I just added that into the list of special skills I already had going, like spotting wigs on people and being able to husk every piece of silk off of an ear of corn, just to name a few. Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island, ME was one place we hadn’t explored yet, and Dave’s birthday was the perfect reason for a get away. We arrived later on a Sunday evening and drove up to Cadillac Mountain to catch the tail end of the sunset. We spent our next 2 days hiking, relaxing by the shore and sea kayaking. Dave ate wild maine blueberries where ever we went and couldn’t have been happier about it. I was happy to be someplace new and very photogenic.
