Winter Day in New Hampshire

A few weeks back Dave planned a little day trip for us to New Hampshire for some winter fun. The morning started off with us heading into Lincoln for an hour snow mobile ride thru Franconia State Park. The night before the area had gotten a few feet of snow, so everything was bright white and untouched. It made for a pretty beautiful and memorable ride. After some lunch in town we stopped several places along the drive to Loon Mountain to take pictures, but quickly realized the snow was too deep in some areas for us to venture far into the woods. We did manage to find some places where we didn’t sink in waist deep! One of the other draws up to NH was to visit Loon’s Ice Castle. It was the last weekend it would be open and Dave thought it would be pretty neat to photograph…. boy was he right.
