Sophia and Hoang’s engagement session at New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill in Boylston, Massachusetts was equal parts meaningful, joyful, and incredibly fun to photograph. From the moment we started, it was clear how intentional they were about honoring their story, not just their love for each other, but also the heritages that shaped who they are today.
One of the most special elements of this session was Sophia and Hoang’s choice to wear traditional Korean and Vietnamese attire. Incorporating these cultural garments brought such depth and significance to their engagement photos, turning the session into a true celebration of family, history, and identity. And on top of that? These two were an absolute dream to work with. Sophia and Hoang were relaxed, playful, and completely at ease together, which made the entire session feel effortless. They laughed easily, trusted the process, and truly enjoyed being present with one another. The kind of energy every photographer hopes for during an engagement session!
